I devoured this one! I did not want to put it down.
This book and this series have been on my TBR pile for a long time and I'm glad I used one of my audible credits to listen to this book! Stella Bloom did a wonderful job reading this story and the various characters were easily distinguished.
When I picked up this book, and with the similarities with Persephone and Stephanie's names, I thought this was going to be another retelling of the tale, but I was pleasantly surprised when I realised it was not. The added appearance of Persephone later in the book was also an added bonus giving her opinions on what happened and her forgiveness of Hades.
I adored Hades 😍😍😍 I always have a weakness for the brooding male characters, and Hades was definitely that. Our first meeting with him was short and instantly Stephanie was interested in him, needing to discover more about him.
The modern backdrop of the Greek hotel and the various activities they joined in, threaded with some Greek mythology was well done and the information was slipped in effortlessly.
I like how Stephanie grew in confidence as the story progressed.
I really enjoyed his book and look forward to reading the next in the series.
