Review of Romancing a Pirate by Raelle Logan

Raelle Logan's Romancing a Pirate was another book recommended for the #12challenge on Twitter. This was the first of Raelle's books I've read, and I wasn't at all disappointed by the recommendation. I found the leads in the story, Lone and Hunter to be interesting and charming, and sexy too. I adored Hunter from the first time meeting him, and the chemistry between him and Lone was brilliant. I was a little unsure about May, Lone's sister, I found her to be a little irritating, but I believe that was the intent of the author, and it was portrayed well, but she improves as the story progresses.

The only issue I had with this book, and the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is due to the confusion I had when reading, trying to decipher whose POV the reader was in at the time. I felt there was a lot of head-hopping, but from all the other reviews I've seen, this could just be my opinion.

Nevertheless, this story was brilliant, with lots of unexpected turns and I would certainly recommend it to others.

A brilliant story that was well-paced, with plenty of steam throughout.
