Review of Tangled in his Possession by Thea Landen

I picked this up after seeing it promoted on X(formerly Twitter). I was looking for a quick read and the blurb of this book sounded interesting.

I found the start of the book was a little slow and there was a fair amount of information there that I don't think was necessary, but the story was engaging and interesting enough to keep me reading. I didn't think there were many paranormal aspects to the book, however. It's classed as a paranormal erotic novel, and though he is possessed by a demon and there is mention of his 'occult' store, there isn't much of it in the story, which might be preferable to some. A few instances of his red eyes and the demon taking over, but this only happens a handful of times. I loved Lucy's character. She was headstrong and stubborn and knew exactly what she wanted, Zeke. A quiet and intriguing neighbour. They become close quickly. He saves her from a robber one evening when she is closing up her store and discovers his demon secret. They get even closer and their relationship blossoms and deepens. Overall I found the story quite sweet with some more romantic parts to their relationship, and spicy! Not what I would class as an erotic novel personally, but certainly some well-detailed and hot scenes! A good and quick read for any romance reader!
