From the beginning, I loved this book!
Normally I like a little bit more spice to my books, preferring adult over YA novels, but this book still had plenty of steamy moments. (Nothing detailed for those looking for "clean" romances).
All of the characters had their own personality that was distinct enough from one another.
Joss was wonderful, as was Lily. And the love interests. Edmund, the joking best friend. And Alex the brooding old friend/bodyguard (My favourite). And of course, we love to hate Stefan... such a slimeball, and so well brought to life.
The world created was rich with detail and well crafted. Everything flowed beautifully. I didn't at any point feel like there was an information dump/overload of things all at once. It was broken up and explained throughout, added into scenes and dialogue.
The pacing was also great. No lapse in interest or intrigue.
A wonderful read and another author that I'm adding to my list of favourites.
Can't wait to read more :)
